At Boundary Oak School, we believe that every member of staff plays a vital role in shaping an exceptional educational experience. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and personable Exams Officer and School Support colleague to join our friendly team.
This is a unique opportunity to combine the responsibility of managing the school's examinations with a varied and rewarding role supporting the wider life of the school. As Exams Officer, you will coordinate all aspects of internal and external examinations, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, accurately and in full compliance with examination regulations. You will be the key link between the school, awarding bodies, pupils and staff, making a direct contribution to the success of our pupils at some of the most important moments of their educational journey.
Outside of peak examination periods, you will become an integral member of our School Support team, helping with a range of operational, administrative and community-focused activities. The role offers considerable variety and flexibility, with responsibilities tailored to your skills, interests and strengths, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across many areas of school life.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Whether you already have experience as an Exams Officer or are an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

The hours are 27.5 hours per week which is negotiable, ideally 9am – 3pm Mon-Fri with 30mins lunch.
During the main exam period (approximately 6 weeks in May/June) the hours will be 8am-5pm.
This role is for 37 weeks per year which is 35 weeks term time plus 2 additional weeks (to include GCSE results period – middle 2 weeks of August).
Salary £17,000-£22,000 dependent on experience (FTE £30,000-£38,700)
